The Shire of Eisenmarche

This Shire is no more. It has ceased to be. It has expired and gone to meet it's maker. It's a stiff; bereft of life, it rests in peace. If we hadn't nailed it to the perch, it would be pushing up the daisies. It's metabolic processes are now history. It's off the twig. It's kicked the bucket, shuffled off it's mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the choir invisibile.

This is an ex-Shire.

In the year Anno Societatis LXV (2011 CE), the Shire of Eisenmarche disolved, and the people and lands where split in two. The western half (Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, New Westminster) returned to the Barony of Lions Gate, while the eastern half (Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows) became part of the Shire of Lionsdale.
